About This Project
Repeat customers, Tony and Jane K., have hired us for just about everything, but this project took the cake.
Just when we though there was nothing left to do in their home, it turned out we were right and in 2023, they asked us to build them a new one.
This small home is no shed and no modular home. Every beam was planned, cut and installed by our team. It’s a complete living space on their main plot, with its own foundation, power, plumbing, walkways and even an attached garden shed (with a separate entrance). This humble house is a beautiful oasis, featuring decorative roof beams, a modern bathroom with shower, kitchenette, mirrored closet and rough sawn cedar shutters to match the main house.
Coordinating with concrete installers and other contractors was necessary for completing this jumbo project and nothing was left to chance. Company owner Jon was overseeing every crew, not just his own, all the while running tools, materials and even lunch for the workers. When it was our turn, we dug in with our small, trusted team of competent professionals and knocked out everything from the framing to the last painstaking detail. Though we had to give Jane and Tony the keys in the end, we still secretly think of this as our baby.
